Aerial Photography Field Office: A clearinghouse for archived aerial photographs (black & white, color infrared, and true color) by the U. S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service. Photographs are available in scales from 1″ = 5000′ to 1″ = 200′. To order, send the APFO a legal description of the area (Township, Range, Section), lat & long. coordinates, or the area identified on a topo, county or city map. Pre-payment is required. Payment can be made by purchase order (govt. agencies only), checks, money orders, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Once ordered, the APFO will duplicate the photos and send them to you. Expect 4 – 6 weeks for development time and 10 days for shipping.
